On Tuesday, May 13, 2008, Texas Wesleyan University and the School of Law co-hosted a bar-b-q to honor local police officers and campus security officers.  Ken Dunson presented certificates of appreciation to both FW Police Officers and security officers for the historic campus and the law school.

Security Officer of the Year certificates of appreciation were presented to Austin Nettles for the historic campus and Brenda Weston for the law school.
